Greetings from Mong Authors!

Aung Z. Mong and Jill Mong wrote A Little Boy on Ramree Island, which won the PenCraft award (summer 2023) and was also nominated for the Eric Hoffer award (2023).  They plan to write more books about growing up on Ramree Island in Myanmar (Burma), making it a series.

 

Jill wrote The Shwedagon Pagoda Mouse, a bi-lingual (English and Burmese) children's book, and Aung illustrated the story. They plan on writing more bi-lingual children's books as well.
